Welcome to the kid's page where you'll find information about programs and activities for children from newborns to tweens. We strive to provide a variety of activities to promote early literacy and support learning.

Summer Events

Join us for a summer of fun!

-We will have fun, educational in-person events on July 15 at 10 a.m., July 30 at 10 a.m., and August 4 at 10 a.m.

-Sign up for our Summer Reading Program, Tails and Tales! Complete our children, teen or adult reading bingo cards for weekly prizes and tickets into our prize drawings.

-Summer Storytime begins Tuesday, June 29. Enjoy a marvelous tale and activity every Tuesday at 11 a.m. and close out the summer with the Attic Trunk Show on Wednesday, August 4.

Reading to your child is key to learning.  We recommend you read, read, and read some more.  Our libraries help you by making reading fun with the 1000 Books before Kindergarten program.

Tumblebooks Library

InfoSoup has a subscription to TumbleBookLibrary, an online collection of e-books for children. You  can access it from home, for free using your library card number.

The site features hundreds of animated, talking picture books. The site also features books in Spanish and French, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles! You can use your computer, tablet, or mobile phone! All you need is an internet connection. There are no downloads: books are streamed right to your device at the click of a button. Apps are available for Apple and Adroid devices.
