Welcome to the kid's page where you'll find information about programs and activities for children from newborns to tweens. We strive to provide a variety of activities to promote early literacy and support learning.

New Programs

Summer is wrapping up but new programs are just getting started!

-Teen/Tween Book Club will meet every 2nd Monday at the library from 5-6 p.m. - Pizza provided! Call or stop in to pick up the book for discussion. 

-Arts and Crafts Club will meet every 1st Thursday at the library anytime between 3-6 p.m. - This is time to work on your art and talk with other creatives - all ages welcome

- Children's Story Time will meet at the library every Wednesday from 10-10:30 a.m.

Reading to your child is key to learning.  We recommend you read, read, and read some more.  Our libraries help you by making reading fun with the 1000 Books before Kindergarten program.

Tumblebooks Library

InfoSoup has a subscription to TumbleBookLibrary, an online collection of e-books for children. You  can access it from home, for free using your library card number.

The site features hundreds of animated, talking picture books. The site also features books in Spanish and French, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles! You can use your computer, tablet, or mobile phone! All you need is an internet connection. There are no downloads: books are streamed right to your device at the click of a button. Apps are available for Apple and Adroid devices.
